The late ‘70s Gil Kane Tarzan has clearly lost his mojo, if he can’t even take down a half-crippled man-eating lion. The ‘50s/’60s John Celardo Tarzan pretty much ate lions for breakfast, usually by panel three. Ah, for the good ol’ days, when Tarzan was a one-man African megafauna extinction event… ;-)
