I use to think “follow the money” was a somewhat overused, over cynical cliche. but now I am thinking it is not used enough. figure out why people do what they do – “the love of money is the root of all evil” seems to explain a lot of what’s happening today when you start to dig around in the ‘why is this happening’ category as it makes no sense and isn’t even logical on a very basic concept. if we mask it over with “emotional platitudes” and “righteous indignation” it appears that people won’t look at the “real” reason behind the actions. js
