I haven’t been in a movie theater since 1969, and don’t miss sitting next to thoughtless, rude people, or not being able to just turn off a movie that I find distasteful, at all.
I went to a movie with some friends a couple of years ago. First time I had in a theater in about eight years. After sitting through 40 minutes of continuous ads before the movie I was ready to leave without watching it.
Typical of just about every modern movie. When Sir Sean Connery was asked why he retired, he stated; “because nobody in bloody Hollywood knows how to make bloody movies anymore.”

Good to see that they can share an opinion, from time to time…

Like my opera-loving BIL, calls Wagner’s “Lohengrin” … “Slow and Grim”.
