Actress friend of mine who died a few years ago, one day bought her husband a wooden box on a whim. No purpose in mind, just a whim.
At her memorial he played a clip of her singing “Somewhere That’s Green” as Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors, about longing to be in a better place than the grayscale Skid Row. He then brought out the box, which now contained her ashes.
The box was green.
