A computer and games in a retirement home that could barely afford two tv’s?

So glad I’ve never had a chance to play any video games.

My youngest brother, three years older than me, always liked to play the Avalon Hill war games – Battle of the Bulge, Guadacanal, Blitzkreig!, D-Day, Anzio, Midway, etc. etc. etc. Ironically he ended up becoming a programmer who converted the Pentagon’s war game simulation from a manual process and then worked on the Star Wars simulations. Growing up, I thought those kind of games were a waste of time but they turned out to help him in his career
