Older people eat much less than they did when they were younger (I’m 72 and definitely eat much less than I did even 20 years ago). Unfortunately, it seems that many don’t eat enough. What I frequently heard from the 2 generations ahead of me about eating was “It just doesn’t taste good anymore”, so they’d eat less and less and get skinnier and weaker. I would say it is a very bad idea for Mr. Johnson here to be fasting; for one thing, he looks pretty skinny to begin with. At least a poor appetite isn’t a problem Dusty has.
