Maybe it isn’t even a scale and it just always says 165.

I don’t mind the recycled jokes. It’s fun to see them again but in different ways. It’s also a way for Mr. Peirce to use them again for the newer readers.

Should’ve visited that Port-O-John in yesterday’s install……..all that junk he’s been eating on the midway, he might’ve dumped the 3 lbs. before the guy weighed him………

Well, for starters he should have taken off his shoes. They usually account for 2 – 2.5 pounds. With some luck he would have hit the coveted 162 pounds.

This same idea has been used with Nate, except in a daily strip. Nate said that he weighed eighty-seven after the guy guessed he was ninety-one, but he forgot about the five pounds of fried dough he ate at the fair that day, so he weighed ninety-two.
