I couldn’t help but feel a tiny chill when I read Trout’s words in the last panel.Her mother has been shown as very protective of her…
and this is mostly light-hearted fiction.
But that’s a rather unsettling prayer..
coming from the lips of a preteen girl, with so many “uncles”, and a mother whose “fiance’s” come and go….
even if I’m sure that’s not what she or Tony meant.
