At least the thief left the chair, the lamp, the picture frame, the telephone, the sugar (a/k/a butter-and-egg money) jar, and the table the jar is on!
Actually police to investigate home burglaries. Not car burglaries. Neighbor’s house I actually witness a mini van but not someone taking stuff out of their house. Someone kicked in back door couldn’t see.

Yes, thanks to Bill Blackbeard for preserving and helping to spotlight for new generations the best of the American art-form called comics.

Thank you Fangirl….what an eye-opener. Imagine the reaction of the local fire department to that room!

The way this story is going, tomorrow Slim will protest that his TV was stolen, so how can he be watching too much of it?

That’s Don Beddoe as Uncle Walt in the 1950s GA film!

It looks like the burglar picked up the phone. But, after he did that, someone else smudged the prints he left.

I didn’t know there was a Gasoline Alley movie!
Fangirl over 13 years ago
Neither did I - A-G, was it called “Gasoline Alley”? Great casting - he looks as I would expect Walt to look in real life.
Harebell - I’m impressed that not only did he amass such a collection, he was able to make it a life’s work both financially and as a passion.
