I like the way Elizabeth jumps to the conclusion “She hurts him – an’ now he’s apologizing?” after hearing Gordon say nothing more than “Gone to see Martha.” Elizabeth should know from her own experience with her brother that Michael never apologizes.

How cute – Gordon’s seen it “over and over” at the ripe old age of 15 or so? Also cute who he’s saying it to, if you’ve read the strip to the end.

There is much to be said for surrendering yourself to the one you love. I mean that. You have to talk a lot.

Gordon’s description of “in love” is a good one. Actual love is a different thing.
