We can be generous, help each other, help other creatures, nurture, explore, and understand. Many, maybe most of us actually do those things.

What we have the most trouble with is opening our minds; and the venomous few are very good at exploiting this.

the problem is intolerance for compromise. both sides view compromise as ‘surrender’ so refuse to budge, refuse to try and resolve issues just stand there and tell the other they are jerks (and worse)

This was awfully predictable. It wasn’t many weeks ago that R.J. reached the conclusion that humans had this one redeeming value.

That’s RJ’s favorite conclusion, and his heartfelt wish, too. Absent that “value,” where would he get his Twinkies?

I don’t know, I can’t find Blueberry Uglies any more. Afraid the company may have gone under.
