Well, people still talk about dialing a number, even though phone dials have been obsolete for decades now.
Watches are a fashion accesory, they’ll never become extinct, at least I hope not!
By the Kaiser’s moustache, it’s taking a herculean effort on Barney’s part to keep from thwacking his daughter on her posterior.
(Of course if your dad was named Ebenezer, and you married someone named Lucretia - you might be excused a certain degree of Olde English.)

Curious, the clocks on my iPod are “Dial” clocks.
I hate those phrases anyway. You ask what time it is and people say ‘a quarter past’. Past what?
