Sophie is a very responsible puppy

Whatever goes wrong, it’s likely that she’s responsible

Dogs don’t know all that many commands but they can cypher out pretty much all the cuss words and determine how far to get away by the tone and volume of every one of them.

The Buffalo News is still running different strips. Don’t know what’s up with them this week.

Those are _not- bad words; those are expressions of mild shock or surprise. If he were using bad words, in the cartoon world they look like this: %$#@! (Just ask Beetle Bailey)

Not You, Sophie Perfect Puppy…….

You just got to play the innocent puppy card with the puppy dog eyes, crisis averted.

I hope he’s only saying “!!!” & not “$^$&%!" Rugrats are notorious for picking up on what the big people say. My ex used to cuss at the computer when it acted up, & I always used to tell him not to do that because our son (then 2 years old) would pick up on it. Sure enough, one day we heard G say very clearly: “$#!+! Stupid machine!”

That’s a lot of exclamation points.

And my sweet little Annie has that “Are you talking to me”? look on her face. :-D
