    Worked in one in the early ‘60s. What I learned is that minimum wage jobs are harder than any “real” job I’ve ever had. Apparently the reason that “good” jobs are harder to get is that they’re less demanding.

    I never had a regular job until I got married and needed the insurance. I ran trot lines in the morning and sold the fish from the back of my truck. Three nights a week I played music in the local bars, for the first couple of years I was too young to go up to the bar and had to wait on the stage during breaks. I always had plenty of money and did what I loved doing. The 70’s were great for me.
