National Mac & Cheese Day. Maybe I’ll have that for dinner.
National Grand Mariner Day
National Tape Measure Day. I could take my tape measure and measure my garden, but I already did that last week. BTW, my garden measures 121 feet by 20 feet. And I hope to make a video of it this afternoon (after I yank a few more weeds out of the green beans).
The garden was looking good when I was out there on Saturday. Well, except for all the weeds in the watermelons & squash. But I yanked those weeds out. My corn is tasseling now and I picked my first bunch of green beans on Saturday. More should be ready now. And I even saw a little baby watermelon (about the size of a pea). So ripe melons are several weeks away yet. :)
In reply to Mary from yesterday “We’re still watching tapes on our VCR” Me too! I have so many shows on VHS, I have to watch them. I have a DVD/VCR combo, so I watch DVD’s too.
OT: Well, I’ve done it. I adopted another cat. This one is a bob-tailed boy that had been on his own for at least 10 months. A kind lady fed him through that time. He was finally trapped and taken to the shelter. And he and Katie have been trash talking since Hubby brought him home yesterday. And I am unsure what to name him. Hubby and I haven’t like any of the names we’ve come up with except Tag, because he follows us right on our heels. He is gray with some swirls of beige thrown in the mix.
My kitchen needs a sugar ant bath…… Don’t want to kill them so I’m putting fresh lemon peel on the counter seams to help evict them. Anyone have luck with other non-lethal methods?
Boy, those are some obnoxious fleas. They make Chesney look good by comparison! (Love the phrase “snitty kitty”, by the way. ) On another note, saw a dragonfly, three robins, two butterflies, a helicopter, a ladybug, and two rabbits while out walking today.
One of my cats really hated the back-of-the-neck flea treatment. He could never understand how we got along so well for weeks and then I suddenly became a “neck-murderer”. He would only sulk for about an hour because we really did like each other.

It might be harder to get rid of entitled fleas than you thought, Annie.

I don’t think the fleas will enjoy the flea bath any more than Chesney will.

BBEAR’s Tuesday posts:
1. Think about it: for most of us life was normal until March 7th. And then we changed our clocks and went into quarantine.

2. As the temperatures rise into the 90’s and stay for the summer, a true lover knows where and when to point the fan.

3. Do you have a cat? Then why do you need an alarm clock to get you up?
https://i.imgur.com/vd7xcyX.jpg
4. Just who is the home owner here anyway?

5. Are you interrupting my breakfast to take another picture, Karen?

6. I hate to tell you kitty, but you missed Monday by this much. (It’s already Tuesday.)

7. What is it about cats and USB, mouse, and power cords? It’s shocking.
