Andy needn’t look so surprised: he never pays for ANYthing, except maybe when he’s had a bit of luck playing poker, darts or snooker!

Just don’t bust a gut trying too hard, Guitar Bob. You only have so many strings on your guitar to strum with. And I doubt that you have any spare guts on you.

“Seasick Steve”, eh? So I doubt that he ever worked as sailor, like Sweden’s Evert Taube or Gordon Bok from Maine.

And somehow I suspect that even his experience “riding the rails” never came close to that of Utah Phillips.

He’s a rebel and he’ll never ever be any good!

Actually, Seasick Steve made up a lot of his colourful past. He never really jumped freights.

Wait, you pay bus fair by the number of stops? Here in the states, you pay to get on and can ride as long as the line runs. Staying on a few “extra” stops would be included.

I knew him when he was Trainsick Steve.

Not paying sure got Andy’s attention.

Andy’s hoping the guitar guy stays on the bus forever.

I’m very much a free spirit. Before all this happened, I was always going on “jaunts” to my favourite places. Alone. Nothing better. Thank goodness I can still do it. Just at a safer pace.
