There is still an other month and a week to go before education officials cobble together a semi-workable system to allow children to return to school safely. Watch Covid-19 spike in September.
History is less about the date something happened as it is the impact of that event. The dates do help establish cause and effect. You rarely have a person’s death before their accomplishments.
as far as i know this coming school year will be the first one of uncertainty; when it will start, where the classroom will be (at school or online), how many days a week in the school building, WIFI and ipads, school supplies, school lunches for low income, transportation to and from school if applicable, testing swabs, masks, gloves, thermometers, day care and headstart, etc.

I know it’s a cartoon, but shouldn’t they be wearing masks as well as being a bit farther apart?

Sorry, but those who don’t learn from history are doomed to repeat it.

I’m glad I don’t have any school-age kids. It must be very tough on parents and kids right now.

Maybe a gap year is what the kids really need.
