I forget how many but didn’t alternate number six make it on to the jury before it was over. I do remember Judge Ito seemed to dismiss a juror at least once a week. I remember one was dismissed because he had a list of the names of the jurors.
This should all be set to the tune of the “Tonight” quintet from West Side Story. “The press is gonna get their kicks Tonight! We’re gonna cover number six Tonight!…”
1994, eh? Those were such innocent times. We had the freedom and relaxation to be able to kick back as voyeurs to a real-life soap opera instead of having crap raining down on us 24/7.
Man, I am so hoping for 2020 hindsight, because the best way to see this year is in the rear-view mirror!
