Why does the drawing look different?

This may be inappropriate for C&H and I know that “Sally Forth” isn;t in GoComics, but is there any way to let her cartoonist know that her new hair style is awful and let her go back to her old “do”?

It would be something if Mom could actually hear Hobbes’ yelling.

Once I stood in the city of Florenz, the guide left the group, people vanished and I was allone in the middle of Florenz and I was not able to speek Italien – I felt very “lost”!!

When was the last time I got lost? I don’t remember…

It’s cool to see these early strips. And it’s not just the drawing style—the characters haven’t been fully worked out yet either.

This is the early C&H. The drawing evolved from this style.

We are never lost, we just not know where we are at the moment.

My favorite line is from Hobbes. Calvin baited a trap witth a tuna sandwich, and it worked. As hobbes dangled from the trap, eating his sandwich, he said, “Tigers are kind of stupid that way”.

I love his drawing style in the beginning. And later of course.

For me I always called for daddy.

‘He who hesitates is “lost”’.

“Mommy” would have handed me a compass and told me to be home for dinner.

Ha, ha! :) they’re sooo funny, though!

LOL…they are probably at the end of their yard and don’t realize it…very funny!

I wonder if “mommmyyy” would be hearing that in two part harmony?

I don’t know—I thought more Calvin Livingstone and Hobbes Stanley.

I’d like to comment on yesterday’s comments. Many horrible things were done by various people in the name of religion, but that doesn’t mean all believers do bad things. Also, I wish some of the comments here weren’t so negative. I appreciate your giving me a chance to say how I’m feeling—and I love hearing your input as well. May the force be with you! :D

That might be because she’s Dutch!

Other strips are like this too. Early Luann and 9 Chickweed Lane almost look like stsick drawings.
