If it will make you feel better, snail, take a look at Buddy’s friend in the fourth panel. His feet on the left side are pointed in the opposite direction as his right side. If you want to race him, when he will want to take a walk his left side will want to walk left and his right side will want to walk right. In other words he aint going anywhere off that spot!
