I find it interesting how many of the people who have been awarded medals for heroism explain their motivations with variants of, “I just did what I had to do”.

Bravery is doing something you’re really frightened of, not being fearless.

So we’re implying the mish-mashedness of the critter is because it’s made of a mix of emotions, then?

Seems right! She is a very complicated character.

This makes you think. I’ve heard that courage is not the absence of fear, but how you deal with fear and move through it, to accomplish what you’ve chosen to accomplish. The best courage is unnoticed….

So the lion fore legs represent bravery. Does this creature represent the Seven Virtues?

She must be brave enough to go back.

If you have no fear there is no bravery.
