I wear a watch — a diving watch so I don’t have to remember to take it off to wash dishes, swim, or take a shower. I wear it so I don’t have to take my phone out of my purse (or figure out where I left it since it is too big to fit a pocket). Even though I’m retired and don’t have to ‘punch a time clock’, I do find that there are a lot of things for which time is important — like when to feed the animals (including my spouse), when to sign on for my Zoom class, when to leave for my art session pr doctor’s appointment, when to stay near the phone because the kids call around 7.
I am one of those obsessive people who have to be on time. If I am 10 mins early, I am late. I would rather wait for people than feel I am wasting peoples’ time if they have to wait for meI feel totally lost without a watch. Even though I have an iPhone and an iPad, and a work computer and a home computer, I use my watch to check the time. I have calmed down some now that I am in my 60s. I have calmed down some recently. Might be because I am getting close to retirement. :o) I think my dad was my influence there (he was in the army and we were NEVER late).

Must have a rotatable bezel to mark the start time.
