If she doesn’t completely tighten a lid, would that mean she leaves a jar ajar?
Can she preserve some jam, too?
Can she jam some preserves (in a jar)? or can she only do that in a can?
I’ve done canning. The only way you get “explosion” is from improperly sterilized apparatus and it happens later when toxic bacteria release gases.
By “explosion,” do they mean the jar, or the person who ate the preserves? ;-)
We should be glad our ancestors were the ones that migrated, if it was up to the current generation we would be stuck somewhere in Europe, or maybe Africa.
