Remember, Folks: Inflation is not rising prices, it is legalized counterfeiting which then produces rising prices. If your house is burning down, it is important to tell the difference between fire and smoke, cause and effect. Blowing away the smoke will not save your house.
As for Susan N.’s “Tomorrow, ten will be the new one”, we passed that ages ago. Compare today to 3-cent first-class mail, 29-cent a gallon gasoline, $2500 cars, $12,000 houses–all of which I remember.
There is TRILLIONS of government spending backed up in the economy which is now starting to break out into the economy as rampant price-inflation. The only question is, will it be as bad as Jimmy Carter’s 18% annual rate or as bad as the Weimar Republic’s 4-billion marks to the dollar. Stay tuned.
pschearer - you politicals are always jumping in and ruining a good comics page. It’s escapism - not beat a dead horse on your soapbox belaboring the obvious.

Dave: Sorry to ruin your day. Try to get over it. But if what I said was obvious, I wouldn’t need to explain it.
