Take it slow; first 2 or 3 days back are the adjustment period.

Things are going to be rough when the drogue ‘chute didn’t deploy.

USAians tend to take not enough vacation time. You need 1½ day to travel and get situated to your lodgings. Another ½ day to start to adjust to any time zone differences. Then time to explore your vacation place depending on the type of vacation you are having 5 – 8 days. Then a day to realize that you have to go back. Then 2 days to run around doing everything you didn’t do but had planned. Then another day to realize that you have to pack tomorrow to go back. Then a day to buy all the souvenirs you were going to buy an d eat all the local food you were going to eat. Then to pack and get to the point of debarkation and travel back. Then a day to do laundry and adjust to the time zone change and then a fitful night realizing that you have to go back to work tomorrow. You need another day to decompress from your vacation at least. YMMV.

Be careful you don’t burn up going through the different atmosphere.

Rarely do you have a drogue chute to deploy and help you back to the office. The old statement of “need a vacation from my vacation!” is very true.

Why are cartoonists only aware of office jobs?

Do they even know how many other types of absolutely essential jobs there are?
