My husband loves Christmas movies. All Freaking Year Long. There really is no Christmas “season” anymore in our house. Luckily he has wireless headphones to listen to tv.

The song I hate is Last Christmas, stupid song and it has nothing to do with Christmas except it says Christmas in it!!

SOMA FM has three distinct Xmas stations, 1950s – 1960s department store music, Xmas Lounge, and Xmas Rock. From 1 November to 16 March for the last two or three years. Good times.

Both of those songs were written by Johnny Marks, who also wrote Rudolph, the Red-Nosed Reindeer (based on a children’s book written by his brother-in-law) and all the other songs in that 1964 special.
