The preteen girls at my church were all wearing shoes that sounded like Broomie’s last Sunday. I didn’t know the name of the style, but high heeled flip-flops comes close. The only difference being that these all had hard soles, not soft rubber like flip-flops. I think the hard soles are so they can make even more noise.

Did I not predict yesterday my 1500 year old beauty queen in heels? Don’t tell anyone, but I think I have a crush on our cute magical vixen.

I haven’t worn flip-flops since my childhood. I couldn’t stand them then and can’t stand them now.

Summer means one thing to me—barefoot. Hate sandals and flip-flops. I put on Nikes only to play basketball.

Broomie was a flapper in the 1920s, too.
