    Vaguely remember those and they were awful. The peanuts had a weird candy-like coating. :-p

    Had to look those up. “Peanut shaped marshmallow candy”.

    Maybe I once knew what they were, and suppressed the memory.

    In 1964 a General Mills employee chopped a Circus Peanut into bits and added them to a bowl of Cheerios and thusly Lucky Charms was invented. To this day, any cereal which boasts “marshmallows” is just bits of freeze-dried marshmallow candy using the same formula as Circus Peanuts.
