That damn horse!

Indeed I was Elizabeth the first. And I was a man .

It seems that at this pace somebody will claim to have been the horse in the previous life. (See what I did there with the pace and…never mind.)

Nobody in their past life is ever a peasant. You would think there would be way more peasants than nobles!!

I love when people who believe in reincarnation, and claim to remember past lives, are convinced they had to be someone famous. There’s an old quip about how every woman was Cleopatra and every man was Ben Franklin.

The Great Kate was Katherine Hepburn.

Assuring your “place in history” is pretty un-satisfying if you can’t enjoy it in the present. I don’t want a statue. I want a party.

I understand that in private the horse said she wasn’t all that great.

every notice that people that claim previous lives were always famous historical people? Never some unknown person.

In the only religion that believes in past lives, you start out as the lowest form of life and have to work your way up.

I sat in on a hypnosis session where a friend filmed himself “regressing” his wife to past lives, for one of his college classes. I don’t recall any of them being famous people.

Or demented.
