    My Annie never goes any higher than my lap or my ankles. Other than that, this is my life every night as I fall asleep. Now I understand her need for elevation…vigilance, always vigilance.

    No biggie – I have a cat that does that. In real watch mode, she’ll stake out a spot on my pillow, above my head. That’s a little more comfortable for me.
