Wallace’s Mum is the one all the other kids; except Spud, who seems to be reeling through existential crises this week, wish they had.

You’d think that with a name like “spud” the kid would be more grounded.

I love that the gull got muddy, too. I guess that’s what friends are for. Hey, Spud, ya’ listening?

Spud is paralyzed. Better do not move, maybe it is infectious.

Poor Spud. He may never recover.

She must have planted grunge.

Wallace’s mother is a mudder.

Mom really gets into gardening.

I guess it runs in the family.

I suddenly find myself with this inexplicable desire to see Ms. McClellan in nothing but a fishnet bodystocking.

I love his mother! She’s the BEST!

A great childhood is when you can get dirty as long as your not in your “good” clothes. :)

Well, now we know what being “down to earth” really means …
