Louie needs to find a real girl not some stuckup hyper snob!

Standard poodles are hunting/water dogs! Ignore those AKC frou-frou haircuts. Ours used to love slipping the leash and playing in the salt water marsh down the sreet.

The poodles nose is just stuck up.

To dream the impossible dream . . .

My poodle loves muddy puddles, or smelly ponds, particularly on hot days. She’ll just lay down and cool off. I always keep a couple of towels handy for when we come back from a walk.

Poodles are know as ratters.

A dog, a little boy and a mud puddle!!! Memories!

So, no labradoodle puppies to join the crew?

Ran into a cartoon (forget which strip – maybe “One Big Happy”) I had clipped in 2006. Half of the dog walker’s (Ruthie’s?) customers thought letting the dogs loose to play in a mud puddle was a great idea. The other half were people.

The poodle doesn’t take orders. She gives them.
