My wife and I learned early on the importance of learning how to âpretend fightâ so as to avoid real fights. While we might say something along these lines to each other once in a while, we both know neither of us means it. And saying it in a ânot meaning itâ manner and setting keeps us from saying stuff like that and meaning it. Sounds weird, but itâs worked for us for 25 happy yearsâŠ25 out of 32 isnât all that bad. âș
