In fairness to Brady, Bruce Arian’s playbook vocabulary is very different from other teams. It’s not the plays that Tom ( and every new player on the Bucs struggle with ), it’s Arians verbiage for those plays.
Think of it a learning a new language. If you only spoke one language for over 20 years, and then were asked to learn an entirely new one at age 40+, I’m sure, no matter how smart you are, you’d still struggle.

Brady didn’t have the arm to go more than 15 yards downfield last year. He’ll need an Edelman clone for the short inside stuff.

Yesterday’s “breathless” story was that the starting center has to adjust by wearing a towel. Tom dries his hands on it. :-)
