We only have 55 days to go for Election Day. I will mail in my ballot as soon as I get it. Despite the “liberal” media murmuring over misgivings by progressives over Biden. I choose to remain optimistic that Biden/Harris will win decisively on Election Day. If Biden snaps up the three battleground states Trump carried in 2016 (Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin), he should be in really good shape. The DC Post recently stated that Sanders had misgivings about Biden but the paper was really stating Sanders insiders saying what Bernie was saying privately. But most of the numbers are in Biden’s favor, and if Trump keeps putting his foot in his mouth (by cutting 9/11 funds, referring to soldiers and veterans “suckers”, etc.) and if Biden brings his A game to the debate (like he did at the Dem Convention) I think he has the momentum. Of course, the people will decide and my hope is that we will turn out with greater intensity than the MAGA crowd. In 2016, 49% of eligible voters stayed home and didn’t vote on Election Day. Hillary said at this year’s convention that this can’t be another,“Shoulda, coulda, woulda, election!” But it’s up to us to make sure that doesn’t happen.
Spanish, like English, has certain vagaries. “Pueblo” means either “the people” or town. I was confused when the town appeared to be missing and had to look it up. :)

is “La Rona” a variation of “La Llorona”?

Maintain “social distance” and you can eat your tacos and drink beer… two out of three is not bad.
