Yep, a form of involuntary servitude.

Married to the same man for nearly 55 years. We never regretted it either.

I remember that there are three rings of marriage…the engagement ring, the wedding ring and afterward the suffering.;D

I’m also reminded of Groucho Marx’s observation on marriage. “Marriage is a wonderful instituion, but who wants to live in an institution?” :D
