My grandfather’s approach was to take it apart. Didn’t matter what it was – he’d grab a pair of pliers and start. I can still hear my grandmother wailing, “Oh, LeRoy!”
This strip makes a pretty compelling argument for Mike Rowe: There’s nothing wrong with steering young people to trade schools instead of college because there will always be a demand for plumbers, electricians, et al. When your basement is flooding because of a broken pipe, are you going to call someone with a B.A. in English Lit?

We had a new water heater installed this week by a professional plumber. It was well worth what we paid fire the installation.
