When the Dad tried to fix Alf’s spaceship and couldn’t, he asked Alf how it works. Alf’s response was, “Hey I don’t know. I just turn the key and it goes.”

Since alien-guy can breathe just fine where he is, maybe Rip can do the same where they’re going?
