You’ve got to get up pretty early in the morning to stay one step ahead of Grandma!

Tim Berners Lee set up this whole internet thing. He’s old enough to be your grandpa. (Tim and I were born on the same day. Like Darwin and Lincoln!)

I told my kids that it was a music truck and they were happy with that. When they were 3 & 5, their favorite uncle taught them otherwise and treated them to ice cream.

Di’n’t have no ice cream trucks in the boonies, but visiting Grampa in the city, he always had a couple nickels when he heard the music & was glad to have a grandkid around to chase down the truck & get us some. If there was no music he’d send us to the little corner store.

I did that only once with my daughter. Their prices are out of my league. Twin Kiss was a blast and affordable when I was a kid. Dad was the parent w/ the sweet tooth. He’d let us all sit in the truck bed (legal back then and TONS of FUN!), plus if our cones melted too fast he didn’t have to clean up because the next rain did it for him.

We told our son when he was a toddler the truck played the song to tell little children it was time for bed. It worked until some older cousins revealed the truth.

We called it the Grandma-have-you-got-any-money-today truck.
