Highways are good. But watch out for byways. You are never sure what’s there. And you will see things that you don’t want to see on the subways.
So much for the king of the road.
So that’s why our potholes don’t get fixed.
Is the time voluntarily spent cleaning highways tax deductible? Most volunteer work is.

No you can’t because the highway dept. isn’t a charitable organization!
I adopted a pothole once. It grew up to become a sink hole. I’m so proud.
