But I don’t wanna write a novel, learn French or walk miles!! (I have walked miles, now that I think about it) I don’t expect these things from me or anyone else, just because I can’t go out where I want to go. And if I DO go out….it’s a hassle.
Many people DO learn French, write novels and walk miles. They organize their time to do what they value. Cathy just does not want to do any of those activities.
My friend: “So far, I baked fifteen loaves of bread, knit three scarves, lost five pounds, and I’m taking up painting! What about you?” Me: “I got out of bed today”.
