They are insatiable! I feel like I spend my entire summer boiling sugar water. I’m SO looking forward to next month, when they leave for more tropical climes.
Our yard is full of hummingbirds all year. There is always at least one nectar rich flower blooming. We get great joy watching these guys flitting and flying around. Each one has its own personality.
OMG, Amanda! My aunt was just going thru the exact same thing! Then while I was visiting her, she finally did have a humming bird come to visit. And I got to see it!

That hummingbird will now tell all the other hummingbirds where the food is. There will be gobs of them.

How cute!! We have a feeder and I’ve only seen one at a time there. The food disappears, though. It is exciting.

I don’t have a feeder but I’ve seen them on my deck tasting my flowers. They are amazing to watch.

I like them I feed them
