This reminds of a time on ‘The Simpsons’ when Homer was trying not to lose his temper, and left the house with the writers seeing what absurd triggers they could (literally) throw at him.

I like attaching a carabineer to the leash so I can clip it to a belt loop to be hands free.

you could always let the leash out a little bit, that way there isn’t quite a tight hold between the dog and you.
