I’m sure that half the African countries were named differently than they are now.
When I was in the 4th grade in 1966 the classroom still had a pre WW2 globe and a 48 star flag.
Looks like this globe is VERY old. As in pre-continental-drift old.

Funny how the globe stand is so beautifully rendered but it appears no effort has been put into the continents.
