I remember the episode of M*A*S*H where Major Winchester first arrived and asked what the horrible smell was. Radar, who was guiding him, mentioned 3 directions (including the cesspool and the latrines). Winchester then declared that the wind wasn’t coming from any of those directions. Radar unflinchingly says “that’s the kitchen”.

Glue Factory. Reminds me of when I answered phones and one client was a rendering plant. They’d get regular calls from the local roping arena, because inexperienced ropers had a way of breaking calves’ necks.
