I am confused.

That’s almost a 90% tax rate.There was a time in the 1920’s, I think, where the tax rate on high income was around 70%. Nero Wolfe would refuse to work if earning additional money would put him into that tax bracket.Huh! A progressive, high tax rate dissuading people to work. And yet the cry goes out to tax the rich…

Is that a modern seat release pull?

Great logic. But back in the 1950s there was a 90% tax bracket for million dollar incomes.
