Ooh! The big toe has an actual name now.

Talk about being all thumbs…

I did that when I was little tyke. My mom was always trying to tell me a thumb was a thumb and a toe was a toe. Later as an older kid I happened to say that while among some other kids. Turned out one of them did have a thumb for a toe and thought we were making fun of him. We told him we didn’t know, but thought it looked great and glad it helped him to walk better and play. He always wore shoes til he showed us that day. It seemed to grow right along with his foot.

Sounds like there’s trouble afoot.

See? Now if that little piggie was off to market like it should be, stuff like this wouldn’t happen.

I never heard anyone call the big toe a thumb before.

Young kids have the ability to make up amusing terms when they don’t have the vocabulary. A joy of parenthood………

It’s his toe, he can call it whatever he wants.

In the time it took to explain that, the pain passed.

I hate stubbing my toe it’s very painful and I shout in pain.
