Naw… for all the car owners out there… we need the droppings to dry! And when it comes time to wash it all off… it pulls off paint or scrapes the heck out of the coating!
I can speak from personal experience that a seagull has a much larger splatter pattern than that. I thought it was raining, then I had to rush home and wash my hair after grabbing my mail and having my Native American neighbor tell me that in her culture, it was a sign of good luck. I probably not have used that luck up yet, I had so much of it! One bird. Had to change and wash my clothes, too.
My friend and I were once sitting on the patio of a restaurant. A gull with perfect aim nailed my Mojito and our plate of calamari, and my white shirt. I got a new cocktail and a new plate of calamari out of it so I wasn’t complaining. Except about the shirt, which the waiter did a pretty good job of scrubbing.
One season -the marina left our boat on the mooring with the mast down for a week. Such a nice perch for gulls. When it was washed, an entire Coke bottle bottom was in the mess. Still some sharp edges. it had to have passed through a seagull. They will eat anything.

Now you’d think that a bird would know better than to look up with a flock flying overhead.
