I usually have one or the other of my cats in my lap during virtual class. Last week, he decided to get up and start sniffing and rubbing the camera. Everyone got a nice close up of one eye and his nose. I let it happen and didn’t stop him because I thought it was funny. Can’t do that in a classroom.
I know of a few teachers started the virtual year out asking everyone to introduce pets, siblings, or other family members that might end up in view during class so that later the kids wouldn’t interrupt to ‘show off’.

Don’t let Peekaboo on the computer, or you’ll get “Kitten on the Keys!”

Just grow a small pot of cat-nip and put it somewhere away from the virtual class.

Peekaboo is wise. He/She decided to audit the course before enrolling.

She’d enjoy a school of sardines too.

Love it! Guarantee that one or more of my 3 cats would be photobombing too.

Well, these are the pleasant changes when we have migrated to online classes. The cat seems to be more eager in learning than Pasquale.
