The robocalls stopped for a few weeks, but they are back in full-swing now. Add to that, political texts.

The politicians who send me a text don’t get my vote.

“Hello! We would like to make you an offer as to cleaning your ducts.”

“I don’t have any ducks, but my chickens are a little dusty.”

One in a thousand land line calls have some meaning. Not worth a pizza to answer the phone 999 times….

That just means you get to pick the toppings, Irwin.

So why don’t you text?

I never answer calls from numbers I don’t recognize. But I was hospitalized, and getting calls from labs and doctors, etc. So I’ve been picking up just in case. I got two extended car warranty calls, a political donation call, 2 debt consolidation calls, and a call from my mother-in-law!

He’ll just have to eat it all by his self !

Take it home to show them what the missed. That will make them so happy.

I don’t answer my home phone unless I recognize the name or number. I get probably 20 plus calls a day I don’t answer. I used to have my answering machine pick up, but it was all hangups or no message at all.

i don’t have caller id. i let the answering machine pick it up. if the call is important enough , the person calling will leave a message….99% of the time it isn’t important.

That’s the trade isn’t it? There is so much spam on the phone these days that it is hard to sort out the few good things that might come through.
